History background
Lusaka Vocational and Technical College, formerly Lusaka Vocational Training Centre, was established in 1997 under the Department of Technical Education and Vocational Training. In 2021, its status was raised to a College.
The institution provides technical and vocational training to Grade 12 school leavers, Grade 9 learners and drop-outs, with a strong focus on employable practical skills.
