1. Job Title: Accountant

Location: Lusaka Vocational and Technical College

Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Manages effectively the collection of revenue in order to fund the operations of the college.
• Manages timely and accurately consolidate budget estimates in order to facilitate mobilization of financial resources.
• Manages and supervises timely and accurately preparation and submission of Financial and Management reports in order to facilitate decision making.
• Manages effectively books of Accounts in order to facilitate storage and retrieval of information.
• Manages and coordinates effectively preparation of section and individual work plan in order to facilitate monitoring and evaluation of performance.
• Manages effectively the utilization of manpower in the section in order to ensure effective and efficient operations.
• Undertakes any other reasonable duties as may be required from time to time by the Principal (CEO).
• Manages the preparation of bank reconciliations.
• Manages the raising of payments.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Grade 12 or Form 5 School Certificate.
• Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent.

• 5 years, preferably in TEVET Institutions.
• Job Title: Lecturer in Automotive Engineering

Location: Lusaka Vocational and Technical College

Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver schemes of work and lesson plans effectively.
• Conduct both theoretical and practical lessons in automotive engineering.
• Prepare and conduct assessments and examinations.
• Maintain a conducive learning environment in the classroom and workshop.
• Provide guidance and support to students, including counselling on academic and social matters.
• Participate in curriculum development and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching methods.
• Engage in research and scholarly activities to enhance the academic reputation of the institution.
• Securing internship and industrial attachment for the learners.

          Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma in Automotive Mechanics or its equivalent.
• Teaching Methodology.
• Accreditation to TEVETA is preferred.
• 5 years
• Job Title: Lecturer in Automotive Electrical Engineering

Location: Lusaka Vocational and Technical College

• Job Title: Administrative Officer

            Location: Lusaka Vocational and Technical College

Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support services in order to facilitate efficient operation of the Institution.
• Provide transport in order to facilitate mobility of staff and goods.
• Maintain infrastructure in order to provide conducive environment.
• Coordinate tasks of administration staff in order to avoid any overlap in performance of duties.
• Manage effectively financial, material, and human resources in order to facilitate the achievement of the section’s objectives.
• Prepare and control the section’s budget in order to facilitate resource mobilization and accountability.
• Supervises all subordinate staff.
• Supervises, coaches, motivates, develops and disciplines subordinates to ensure corrective action and optimum performance
• Prepares and submits periodic reports of the Sectional activities/affairs/performance and related issues

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Full Grade 12 or Form 5 school certificate.
• Diploma in Business Administration or Social Sciences.
• 3 years.
• Job Title: Librarian

            Location: Lusaka Vocational and Technical College

            Type: Full-time

            Key Responsibilities:

• Develops, implements and evaluates Library strategic plan, in line with LVTC goals.
• Prepares and presents regular reports and data that focus on the Library’s support for teaching and learning.
• Establishes and monitors day-to-day systems and facilities.
• Documents Library procedures to ensure that Library documentation is relevant and up-to-date.
• Co-ordinates safety procedures for the Library.
• Promotes the role of the Library’s resources and services to students and staff.
• Provides high quality resources, including e-resources that meet the reading information and learning needs of students and staff.
• Liaises with teaching staff to review resources in curriculum areas.
• Provides statistics of resource use.
• Prepares annual budget and submit to Management.
• Ensures that expenditure of Library is controlled according to College standards.
• Ensures Library management system provides easy access to information.
• Ensures Library management system is updated to latest version.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Full Form 5 or Grade Twelve Certificate
• Diploma in Library and Information Science or equivalent.
• 3 years
